The Western Wildlands Route (WWR) is a cross country route stretching from the Mexican / Arizona border over 2700 miles north to the Montana / Canadian border. The WWR is 80% unpaved consisting of mostly dirt roads and 4×4 tracks and passes through 4 states on the way – Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and Montana. The route can be traversed either direction, but since we started in late April, we took off from the Mexican border and headed north.
